Does one subscription cover all ten banks?
Yes. A single subscription unlocks every bank in the app. There is no per-bank purchase.
The free allowance is shared too: 25 questions on your first day, then ten a day, counted
across all ten banks rather than per bank.
Which banks are included?
Firefighter I & II (5): Basic Operations, Entry-Level Exam, Fire Behavior & Risk,
Firefighter I, Firefighter II.
Officer & inspector (3): Fire Inspector I, Fire Officer I, Fire Officer III.
Specialty (2): Advanced Technician, Hazmat & Apparatus.
Each bank keeps its own progress, so working one does not disturb the others.
Are these real exam questions?
No. They are practice questions written to the topics fire service certification and
promotional examinations cover — fire behaviour, hose and ladder work, ventilation, forcible
entry, SCBA, building construction, incident management, inspection and code enforcement.
No question is taken from any actual examination.
Does it cover my department's or my state's exam?
The content follows the topics that standardised firefighter certification and promotional
examinations cover, and most of that is the same everywhere — fire behaviour, hydraulics,
ventilation and incident command do not change at a city line. What each state, county and
department sets for itself is eligibility, the edition of the standards in force, local
ordinances, apparatus specifics and department SOPs, and those are not in the app. Your own
SOPs and the code adopted in your jurisdiction always win. Confirm certification rules with
your state fire marshal or training academy.
Does it quote NFPA standards or the fire code?
No. The app teaches the underlying practice, not the numbering. Standards and codes are
revised on a cycle, adopted with local amendments, and differ by jurisdiction, so specific
section numbers, distances and thresholds are deliberately left to the edition your authority
has adopted. Read those in the adopted document itself.
What does a subscription open?
It removes the daily limit of ten questions and opens mock exams (timed and scored against
the pass mark) and read-through (answers and explanations laid open, page by page, unscored).
Practice in order, random draw and redo missed all work on the free tier, within the daily ten.
Where is my progress stored?
On your device only. There is no account and nothing is uploaded. Deleting the app deletes
all of it.
I paid but the app still shows the free limit.
Open Subscribe and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same
Apple Account used for the purchase.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by this app. Open Settings in the app and tap
Subscription, then Cancel subscription — that opens Apple's own subscription panel. You can also
get there from the Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling takes effect at
the end of the current period and you keep access until then.
Does it work without a network?
Yes. The questions, explanations and fonts are all inside the app. Nothing is fetched while
you study.
I think an answer is wrong.
Please email the bank name, the question number and what you believe the correct answer is.
Corrections are taken seriously and shipped in the next update.
